My ultimate goal is to help people create homes that are a beautiful backdrop for their story. I’ve always loved how a well-designed home can make people feel. Family dinner feels more vibrant, game nights are cozier, sunny days feel even brighter. My love for interior design led me to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. I’ve worked at the headquarters of Lands’ End designing custom furniture and rugs for the entrances of their corporate offices, and later specialized in residential lighting design and flooring. I have experience in home staging and design, both for new builder model homes and private residences. My passion is creating homes where people love to be.

- Assistance with seasonal and event décor, tablescapes, centerpieces.

“We moved into a new house during the summer and through a series of appointments, Melynie Elvidge helped me to design every element of our house—furniture choices, paint and wallpaper, window treatments, lighting, arrangement of rooms, etc.
I had an idea of what I wanted for some rooms but I wasn’t sure what I wanted or even what my “style” was for other rooms. It was incredibly helpful to talk through things with Melynie and to get her professional advice.
